You will learn practical strategies for establishing a rich learning environment, teaching practices that promote children’s social and emotional development, creative ideas for establishing care routines, and effective ways to have intentional play in your classroom.
Module 2
Infants & Toddlers Cognitive & Representational Learning
1 Day; 5 hours
Focuses on language and literacy development of children ages birth-3. You will learn teaching practices that support children’s development of receptive and expressive communication skills,, You will learn effective practices for fostering emergent literacy. This module also focuses on cognitive development. You will examine practices that support exploration of the physical world and foster mathematical and scientific thinking skills.
